Anah is driven by a passion for understanding what makes people tick. Service and giving back to the community are her guiding principles. With a background and fascination for marketing and event planning, she embarked on the journey of launching @AnahitaProjects in 2018. However, losing her incredible parents forced her to grow up quickly and delayed the relaunch by years. Now, the time is ripe with the ongoing #WomanLifeFreedom Revolution.
Anahita holds degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she actively contributed to making Richmond an even more wonderful place to live. As a VCU Ram, one of the first things Anah helped with was restarting the Persian American Students student organization the first semester she arrived. She was involved in many diverse organizations and celebrated diversity by coming together in unity throughout her university experience. Anah co-founded the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. to embody building a sisterhood of diversity. Anah also served as an Ambassador, and Chair of Marketing for three years in the Student Senate of the Student Government Association (SGA); Anahita received the prestigious Ultimate Ram Award for Students during VCU’s remarkable first four to Final Four run in 2012.
Over the past decade, Anah has served in marketing-inspired roles for various federal-level entities, including the Pentagon, where she spent six years exploring different departments and their strategies for public-facing strategic communications. Anah honed her government-centric public relations expertise in her most recent role as a Strategic Communications Specialist for the Undersecretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy.
